Tha Chipley Custom Machine UberSniper
so. i gave Jason Chipley from CCM a lot of money. in return, after about 15 years (ok ok, so thats just what it SEEMED like) he sent me what i consider to be the most rediculously cool sniper i've ever seen. he took an AKA cocker body and a KAPP frame. went to TOWN on the mill on the body. constructed everything else on the 'gun (bolt/valve/vert ASA/vert feed/cocking rod/pump kit, etc) from scratch. assembled it and gave it to me.
the pumpstroke is so light it falls open by itself by pointing a couple degrees up. i can actually pump the thing by pointing it skywards and dropping my elbow about 2".
apologies for the blurry picts. we were in a hurry to catch the sunlight and the wind was blowing, so they're a little blurry. more to come later. (the tank is a borrowed apoc until i can get a huffy HPA system of my own. bye bye co2.)

when i was looking at Jason's design for the body, what 100% sold me was the completely rad sight rail/backblock. it is by far my favorite part of the 'gun other than the pumpstroke. here it is for posterity.
oh, and here's the BigChief that isn't expecting a pict to be taken. smirk.
and before you ask, i'm afraid the answer is "no Chipley won't make you a sniper like this". in fact, he says he isn't doing any more custom work whatsoever for a while.. tho he *is* planning on making a line of "factory-custom" snipers. IOW, it'll come and you don't get any choices except for anno. but i'm sure they'll be pretty farking sweet.
